THIS IS COACHING
FOR HUMANS
Our bodies and brains are not separate entities.
Transformation that lasts means working with, rather than against, our nervous system.
Apparently that’s a radical statement.

Sustainable energy comes from a place of safety, not hustle. Somatic coaching uses practices from interpersonal neurobiology, polyvagal theory and mindfulness to bring coachees into presence and shift the nervous system out of survival physiology and into restoration — where safety is felt, and where core human experiences like curiosity, creativity, and connection become available again. By working with the bodymind, coachees discover new ways of being that cultivate self compassion, develop increased resilience, expand capacity, and disrupt chronic cycles of burnout.

To reclaim desire while living among the polycrises of our time can feel radical, yet our neurobiology knows that orientation to pleasure holds a protective function and acts as a biological builder of capacity. Somatic coaching uses polyvagal-informed techniques to accelerate a felt shift away from chronic repression or displacement of desire. Coachees can then make contact with what wants to emerge - a previously inaccessible sense of authentic desire. Through an embodied process of self-discovery, coachees uncover ways of being that feel more connected, pleasurable and true.
-
Disconnection from the bodymind and chronic nervous system dysregulation can manifest as ‘fawn’ behaviours, chronic compliance, and ‘stuck’ patterns of relating. The embodied, relational process of somatic coaching facilitates the shift away from automatic people-pleasing and uncovers what is held just below conscious awareness: new possibilities and ways of relating that feel more connected and nourishing. Coachees come away empowered to make more conscious choices, with a felt sense of safety in relationship and renewed capacity for authentic connection.

We can’t think clearly, connect, or move forward when our nervous system is stuck. A body-oriented approach to coaching attends to the bio-psycho-social whole of a person. From here, meaningful action can arise — not through pushing, but through a system that is resourced, connected, and ready. Coachees uncover truly embodied ambition, vibrant and meaningful decision making, and cultivate intentional goals with fresh, sustained energy in ways that feel more nourishing.
