Rebecca Drissi is a Somatic Coach based in the Balearic Islands.
A somatic coach, also known as a body-oriented coach, works not only with the “thinking mind”, but by attending to the complex neuro-bio-psychological whole of a person.
Rebecca offers a gentle coaching practice to help you tune in to what your body has to say, re-align with your innermost values and desires, and utilise this knowledge to make brighter, more authentic choices. She brings attunement, non-judgement and deep listening. Her coaching practice is deeply humanistic and draws on principles from Interpersonal Neurobiology, Hakomi, Gestalt, and Polyvagal Theory.
As an integrative somatic coach, Rebecca works from a guiding principle of wholeness - recognition that everything is part of a greater whole, including the interconnectedness of human and more-than-human life on our planet. As human beings we are not separate from our bodies, each other, or the world around us. Nor are any of us ‘broken’ or in need of 'fixing' - coachees are received as resourceful, creative and whole.
Rebecca lived in East London before settling in the Tramuntana Mountains with her wife and their scruffy rescue dog. She studied at the University of Bristol and the Metanoia Institute before receiving her somatic coaching education from The Somatic School in London. She follows the ICF Code of Ethics and abides by the ICF core values and ethical standards of behaviour for coaching professionals.
